Vacation 2011
I just had to write, our vacation was so amazing and I brought things back for everyone in which I want to share it with. First, I got bored on the ride down there so Wesley and I poked each other a lot, slapped, pinched & laughed. Then I stuck a gum wrapper up my nose for fun..haha! I want to share it with all of you so badly so here it is and no getting jealous so go take your own vacation and figure out that other people aren't as fortunate as us. We first took off two days early in other to drive. We left on the eighteenth and stayed our first night in Georgia where a pro-conartist targeted us and said he was from Springfield and needed money for his car when we were buying us food for the night. So the stay was okay there and we met another man who was also targeted from Ohio who was buying cheap fruit and took it with him. Then we left the next day and made it to a place I looked up for about $55 and I think that was in some part of Florida. The second day we made it to Boynton Beach Florida where we stood in the ocean when we first got there. I have all the pictures on my camera. We eventually went swimming in the ocean quite a few times. Eventually we found West Palm Beach which was where we would board or cruise ship. We had such a great time and it was absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! We went to Fort Lauderdale and spent the night there and went deep sea fishing and caught about 5 fish that was a certain type that we could keep. I'm gonna call them akkita's because I don't remember the name. I got too huge bites and I couldn't hold on to the pole and the fish was ripping the line out of my pole and taking off. Not good. Happened to me twice and each time the line broke! I didn't think I was holding it down but maybe I did? Then we met the 22nd for our cruise to the Bahamas. About a day on the boat and we were in the Grand Bahamas. I tried to buy gifts for everyone I could think of. Outside of the resort we explored some of their restaurants and small outdoor shops. They were really nice. On the way to the resort our bus driver sang us a song about a scandal father who is trying to keep his son from getting married by telling his son that all the girls he wants to marry is actually his sister. It was really cute. The Our Lucaya resort was absolutely beautiful. It was a discounted vacation and on the side we had to take a couple of tours in order to get all the hotel stays cheaper. Then we went to a bonfire the last day at the resort after much swimming in the ocean and the pools there. We became more tan and enjoyed the trip. Then we were bussed to another restaurant/park by the ocean and I think the Bahamians were trying to get us drunk with their Bahama Mamas and Dad was totally mad because he only got one plate and the all-you-could eat dinner ran out of food. After that we got on the bus early and everybody was feeling their oats so-to-speak because they all had drinks there and Mom accordingly kept telling people they were on the wrong bus and then would dunk down in the seat and laugh and Dad well he wanted to drive the bus and because he did then so did Wesley. We met a lady staying in a spot near the Bahamas and she was a special ed teacher and I told her all about the kids I grew up that I knew in my school who I've gotten the chance to help. When we first got to Fort Lauderdale we had a hotel that overlooked the ocean and it was really beautiful. We hit the Tiki bar for food because we were hungry and we had coupons for it. Mom and I ordered alcohol to try it out by the ocean at Ocean Manor. I had a flirtini and liked it because it had Champagne in it..which happened to also hurt my throat at the time. Then I put on some music and a guy who worked there credited the music box with ten songs that I could pick out for free. I picked out "If I Die Young,"-The Band Perry, Taking Back Sunday, Kryptonite, Rihanna, 3 Doors Down, Shaggy and some other songs and artists. Then we left there for Palm Beach to board the boat and went thru U.S. Customs and the guy who took care of us asked Dad if he knew where a certain part of Missouri was and he knew where he was from. The boat was so awesome. I tried duck for my first time and it was all inclusive. Not to mention glad the first tour was over for the timeshares after our little lady who drove us had a small accident. We basically on the boat ate dinner and breakfast and they had nice exquisite food and the best chefs I'd have to say ever. I ate at the Crystal Diner (pretty and upscale)with my family and they totally had these toilets that sounded like they could suck you down into the ocean and I became an all out fan of foreign people all over again. I believe at last there in the Rio Diner that the one was possibly hitting on me..he was sweet and good looking too! So on the way back I went swimming in the pool after we headed back from the Radisson in the Bahamas at Our Lucaya Resort and we had a great time. At the bonfire on the last night in the Bahamas I met a baptist man who told me they actually believe that God's name is Jah and he even had a cd with his music on it. All of them recognize it there and he believed Jesus name was Yeshua in Hebrew too and to think that I just taught Sarah that. I called Sarah and told her and then told her about eating duck for the first time and that I saw an ocean side restaurant with her last name. The last night on the boat Wesley and I danced too songs an entertainer played,.. "California knows how to party," and "Sweet Home Alabama." Then we went to the other part of the boat and got on stage where they were doing acts and started dancing to "Girls just wanna have fun" some other old stuff like it and something about "Funky" in which I was having quite the fun dancing too. After about 5 songs I was tired and had to take my hoody off because it was hot. Then we got back from the boat and went in Orlando for our second timeshare presentation and got to tour Orlando with this awesome lady and got a free breakfast again. The buildings were really nice that we toured. Then we moved into the Ramada hotel in Orlando and I tried out the hot tub which ended up being kids + 3 more guys, one in which hit on me and tried to get me to go to the room with them or play pool. And then I sung Kareoke. I didn't do real great this time. So I had to tell Florida I was sorry on here for crashing their party!! hahhaha, I sang Let er Rip by Dixie Chicks and then Jar of Hearts. I hope you now have fun reading this because I had fun writing this. Oh and I can't forget the rough glass bottom boat ride where we saw a barracuda, sharks, and fish. The glass bottom boat only had windows..boo..and I kinda thought we might sink. I'm so happy we are finally back home now and it's been fun talking to people when I could. But in the Bahamas they don't want you to know what time it is and they really don't worry about it unless you are leaving. It was very neat and I learned that catholic and baptist are their two top religions. And I almost forgot Mom and Wes got to kiss the dolphins!
